GP Earnings - 2019/2020

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working in The Christmas Maltings and Clements Practice in the last financial year was £60,378 before tax, National Insurance and pension contributions. 

This was for 1 full time GP and 7 part time GPs. (A full-time GP is defined as performing 8 or more clinical sessions (half-days) in a week. It does not account for the additional administrative sessions or extended hours frequently worked)."
